(In the Bible) Genesis 30: 14-17…well actually, the whole Genesis 30 is pretty crazy, but especially 14-17 where Rachel PERMITS her sister, Leah, to sleep with Jacob in exchange for mandrakes. Totally crazy right? sounds like 2 crazy women lol. The whole Genesis 30 just made me lol though. Rachel wants kids REALLY badly, and Leah’s just popping babies one-by-one, so Rachel gives her husband, Jacob, her maidservant to have kids for her (this was acceptable back in the day). BEcause her maidservant did have kids with Jacob, Rachel claims she’s won (verse 8). It’s like a war between these 2 ladies. Finally in verse 22, God REMEMBERS Rachel and opens her womb and finally has a kid of her own (while Leah’s on her 6th).

The rest of Genesis 30 is pretty insane too. This was just half of it…if you’re too lazy to read it, Jacob comes up with this master plan and tricks Laban and ends up having this huge flock of sheep/goats. genius.
