Today i had a nasty experience with my school cafeteria. I was getting salad at the salad bar and saw a interesting dressing called Miso Vignarette. I scooped some into my salad, and as I was getting a second scoop i noticed something black in the bowl– a dead fly floating in the dressing.
Anyhow, seeing these pictures reminded me of that experience. especially the cockroaches in the noodles.

I’m curious as to what these taste like although it doesn’t seem appetizing. I could probably never force myself to eat it. The dead cockroaches in the noodles (or whatever bug that is) is the equivalent to a bug jumping/flying/crawling into your soup and dying in it. and I’m sure mantis decorated on tofu just sounds like yum. This is probably the future of sushi when fish become extinct. What’s next? Dead ants instead of caviar on your sushi?
What do you guys think? Would you try this?
